Set up your demo portal

1. Create the OAuth app in Cornerstone

Sign in to your demo portal as an administrator. One OAuth app serves both the data sync and the embedded apps.

1. Open Admin > Tools > Edge > API Management > Manage OAuth 2.0 Applications and choose Register New Application.
2. Enter a name, for example talenttrends demo, and select an active user as the service account.
3. Set the token validity to 3600 seconds.
4. Select all the scopes the list offers.
5. Under Sanctioned domains enter apps-stage.talenttrends.com.
6. Save the app. Cornerstone shows the client secret only once, so copy it now.

Your demo portal is ready

One last step: show the apps in your Custom Page.

1. In Cornerstone, open the Custom Page of this demo portal for editing.
2. Replace the widget with a Custom External widget.
3. Choose the OAuth app you created in step 1.
4. Enter one of these URLs:

   Apps for employees and managers

   https://apps-stage.talenttrends.com/micro-apps/demo/demo-catalog-users Copy

   Apps for administrators

   https://apps-stage.talenttrends.com/micro-apps/demo/demo-catalog-admin Copy

5. Save the Custom Page and reload it.
